I am fisherman, mainly nowadays a carp fisherman, but over the last 35 years I have always fished.
I caught my first fish (a 2oz perch) when I was around 9 years old. I have progressed to carp fishing, by (IMO) the correct route of learning float fishing and basic ledger fishing first. I have learned decent fish care over the years and it remains a priority that every fish is well cared for and released in as good, sometimes better condition than it came out.
The content of this site will mainly be honest reviews of fisheries, tackle shops and tackle that I have used and fished at. Also, there might be a few of my musings and thoughts on aspects of angling issues and current affairs.
